Describe your area and research interests?
- During my Master’s degree, I was introduced to the concept of “agile development methods”. Since then, I have been particularly interested in the interplay between theory and practice of agile development and the many challenges that organisations face during digital transformation. Digitalisation and disruptive technologies demand strategic responses from organisations to create new opportunities wherein changing market requirements are met. Digitalisation thereby becomes an organisational concern, which increases the need for an iterative approach and a highly adaptive environment. My ambition is to contribute to research and challenge the existing agile methods and thereby support digitalisation.
Which current projects (if any) are you going to work on?
- I am currently focused on establishing an interplay between agile development methods and digital transformation as part of my PhD thesis. I hope my research will enrich our current understanding of agile development methods and contribute to research and benefit organisations.
Why did you choose to continue your career at Aalborg University?
- When accomplishing my Master’s degree, I did not share my classmates’ enthusiasm to enter the job market, right away. Aalborg University did not only form me in terms of academia but also helped me grow as an individual. I knew that I was not done with Aalborg University since I had more to learn. I have always had an immense level of ambition, and I believe that a PhD thesis at Aalborg University and the work required hereof can help me explore my potential.
