RESEARCH AREA AND FOCUS

I have been a researcher computer networks for all of my career. In the past, I was active on wireless sensor networks protocols, peer-to-peer networking, and energy saving in wireless communication. Lately, I focused on networking for the smart grid, embedded systems, and modelling and code generation for the communication of systems of systems, while keeping my interest into energy saving.

PROJECTS

I am active on the projects H2020 FEVER, Innovationsfonden Flexible Energy Denmark, H2020 domOS, to study different aspects of the smart grid, spanning from efficient communication and processing of energy data, usage of the blockchain to support energy trading, and implementing secure communication for energy communities.

PRIVATE/FUN FACTS

I am an expert dancer of latin dances, and plan to use embedded systems and artificial intelligence to support the learning of dancing.
