On May 3, the Department of Computer Science hosted the third IT-Design Expo, where Master's students from Digitalisation and Application Development (DAD) and Interaction Design (IxD) had the chance to showcase their Master's projects to several Danish companies.
The guest lists included, among others, representatives from Spar Nord Bank, Delegate and Intelligent Systems, who all participated to get a closer look at the many projects and prototypes developed.
According to Industry Ambassador Jens Erik Pedersen, the reverse job fair is a great way to focus on the skills and competencies, DAD and IxD candidates have acquired.
Before the fair, the students were invited to workshops on competency assessment, cv and job-seeking, providing them with even better abilities to present themselves.
- These educations are not widely known in the industry, and the companies need to be introduced to the competencies and capabilities they did not know they needed. I am happy the event was successful, and we expect to repeat it next year.
In the fall, the traditional job fair, IT Match Event, will return, gathering students from all IT educations at AAU and invited companies.
